Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment preferred
- Ability to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina and strength required
- Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Hold a current food handler card
- Knowledge of service ware maintenance to enhance guest experience
- Ability to operate commercial kitchen dish machines
- Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions
- Strong manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment
- Physical ability to push/pull carts and lift up to 100 lbs
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware promptly and carefully
- Sort soiled ware for proper machine processing
- Operate and maintain dish machines according to hotel standards
- Clean kettles, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment thoroughly
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products
- Clean and dry floors to prevent accidents
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures
- Report unsafe conditions and accidents to management
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance
- Assist other kitchen personnel as needed
