Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment preferred
  • Ability to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical stamina and strength required
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Hold a current food handler card
  • Knowledge of service ware maintenance to enhance guest experience
  • Ability to operate commercial kitchen dish machines
  • Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions
  • Strong manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment
  • Physical ability to push/pull carts and lift up to 100 lbs
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware promptly and carefully
  • Sort soiled ware for proper machine processing
  • Operate and maintain dish machines according to hotel standards
  • Clean kettles, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment thoroughly
  • Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products
  • Clean and dry floors to prevent accidents
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures
  • Report unsafe conditions and accidents to management
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance
  • Assist other kitchen personnel as needed
