Job Requirements
- Ability to work full-time
- must be well groomed and maintain proper uniform and hat
- understanding of dish washing machine maintenance and operation
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling
- ability to read and follow MSDS safety sheets
- physical ability to perform tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
- adherence to company health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in a dishwashing or kitchen sanitation role advantageous
- knowledge of dish washing machine operation and maintenance
- understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
- ability to follow detailed instructions
- strong attention to detail
- good physical stamina for standing and moving throughout shifts
- ability to work as part of a team
- basic communication skills
Job Duties
- Set-up, clean and maintain service of dish area
- ensure tabletop, glassware, flatware, plates and kitchen pots/pans are clean
- maintain dish washing machine and ensure it is working properly
- adhere to proper handling and knowledge of cleaning chemicals
- understand and follow MSDS sheets and safety procedures
- keep all back-of-house areas clean and clutter free including sweeping, moping, and drain cleaning
- monitor and empty all trash and recycling
- prepare other items as needed
- participate in recycling and sanitation programs
