Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or pursuing diploma
  • Previous experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or similar setting preferred
  • Ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Unexpired Arizona food certifications
  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts including early mornings and evenings
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift between 25 and 50 pounds
  • Flexible with scheduling and able to work in fast-paced environments
  • Regular attendance required

  • Ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Strong communication skills including effective listening
  • Flexible and adaptable to changes in workflow, menu items, staff, etc.
  • Ability to remain calm during peak hours
  • Ability to use employee self-service on company human resources/payroll database
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Unexpired Arizona food certifications
  • Must be at least 19 years of age

Job Duties

  • Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment following established procedures and standards
  • Sort and stack dirty dishes and utensils for washing, removing any food residue and debris, and ensuring that items are properly prepped and organized for efficient cleaning
  • Hand wash delicate or oversized items that cannot be cleaned in the dishwashing machine using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques to ensure thorough sanitation
  • Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized at all times, including wiping down surfaces and replenishing cleaning supplies as needed
  • Ensure efficient dishwashing practices to help reduce downtime in the kitchen and restaurant
  • Take out trash when needed
  • Assist cooks with basic food preparation tasks
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings, taste tests, and training
  • Follow good personal hygiene guidelines
  • Conform with all safety standards and use appropriate safety equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
