Job Requirements
- previous food service experience preferred
- availability to work part time schedule from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- ability to lift and move supplies and equipment
- reliable transportation to Los Angeles General Medical Center
- ability to perform physical tasks associated with dishwashing
- willingness to comply with all safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous food service experience preferred
- ability to follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- good communication skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
Job Duties
- scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
- washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
- polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth
- ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
- maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
- keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
