Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machine ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
- washes pots, pans, and trays following assigned procedures to maintain hygiene
- polishes silverware using burnishing machine, chemical dips, buffing wheel, or hand cloth
- ensures compliance with safety procedures and standards
- maintains temperatures and chemical levels as per standards
- keeps dish area clean, organized, and safe
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors meeting sanitation standards
- cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and food prep surfaces
- removes trash and sanitizes garbage cans
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- assists with loading and unloading supplies
- performs additional duties as assigned
