Job Requirements
- Maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time while performing with quality and accuracy
- Withstand exposure to possible food allergens including but not limited to
- meats, fish, nuts, dairy, and oils
- Withstand exposure to and work with cleaning chemicals
- Lift up to 80lbs constantly
- Lift from floor to shoulder constantly and overhead infrequently
- Twist, reach, and bend frequently
- Listen to and comprehend instructions from leads, managers, and coworkers over background restaurant and equipment noise constantly
- Frequently wash hands
- Adhere to schedule and be on time for shifts
- Adhere to company uniform and appearance policy
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- One year experience in related industry preferred
- Good communication skills
- Friendly and polite demeanor
- Strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Team player
Job Duties
- Clean the cooking areas, utensils, and equipment with cleaning chemicals in the kitchen as necessary
- Safely handle food prep equipment such as dish machine, and knives
- Wash and sorts trays, utensils, and equipment parts as needed
- Empty trash cans and take out garbage
- Light stocking
- Sweep, mop, and keep sidewalks clear of snow and ice (weather depending) and general cleanliness of the restaurant
- Receive truck orders, verify correct inventory, and put all items away in an organized manner
- Put away delivery orders according to food hierarchy
- Practice safe food handling and cleanliness at all times
- Assist with food prep and adhere to company recipes and production levels
