Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- exposure to soap, cleaning solutions, and steam
- authorized to work in the U.S.
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- previous experience in a high-volume, full-service kitchen (preferred)
- excellent customer service skills
- sense of urgency and ability to move safely within the kitchen
- ability to follow company policies regarding attendance, safety, and sanitation
Job Duties
- provide the best customer service in a courteous, fast and efficient manner
- wash and dry dishes, glassware, flatware, and pots and pans by machine or hand
- load and unload the dishwashing machine frequently throughout the day
- maintain clean work areas and equipment, sweep and scrub floors
- place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas, prepare and package individual place settings
- sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas, clean garbage cans with water or steam
- clean and prepare various foods for cooking and serving, stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and salad bars
- maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all safety and sanitation procedures within set guidelines from OSHA, HACCP, and Department of Public Health and Risk Management
- perform other duties as assigned
