Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying temperatures with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases
- Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Effective communication skills including talking and hearing
- Sufficient visual acuity to perform job tasks
- Availability to work weekends and/or holidays as required
- Adherence to dress code with a clean, neat uniform
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a dishwashing or kitchen support role
- Proficient communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Understanding of health and safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Ability to handle physical demands including lifting heavy items and working in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Operate dishwashing machines and hand wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and glassware
- Ensure items are cleaned, sanitized, and dried before returning to storage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including waste disposal and recycling
- Assist kitchen staff by providing clean and sanitized equipment and utensils
- Help with food preparation tasks and other kitchen duties as assigned
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions
- Follow all health and safety guidelines including proper handling of chemicals and sanitation procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant food safety and cleanliness regulations
- Participate in cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping floors, and cleaning kitchen appliances and surfaces
- Support fellow employees and contribute to a positive team environment
- Address and resolve member and guest complaints professionally
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management
