Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases
  • Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding
  • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Effective communication skills including talking and hearing
  • Sufficient visual acuity to perform job tasks
  • Availability to work weekends and/or holidays as required
  • Adherence to dress code with a clean, neat uniform

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a dishwashing or kitchen support role
  • Proficient communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Understanding of health and safety standards and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to handle physical demands including lifting heavy items and working in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Operate dishwashing machines and hand wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and glassware
  • Ensure items are cleaned, sanitized, and dried before returning to storage
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including waste disposal and recycling
  • Assist kitchen staff by providing clean and sanitized equipment and utensils
  • Help with food preparation tasks and other kitchen duties as assigned
  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines including proper handling of chemicals and sanitation procedures
  • Ensure compliance with relevant food safety and cleanliness regulations
  • Participate in cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping floors, and cleaning kitchen appliances and surfaces
  • Support fellow employees and contribute to a positive team environment
  • Address and resolve member and guest complaints professionally
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by management
