Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or pursuing diploma
- Previous experience as a dishwasher preferred
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Unexpired Arizona food certifications
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Ability to lift and move between 25 and 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Regular attendance required
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow safety standards and personal hygiene guidelines
- Flexible to work in fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or pursuing diploma
- Previous experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or similar setting preferred
- Ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Strong communication skills including effective listening
- Flexible and adaptable to changes in workflow, menu items, staff, etc.
- Ability to remain calm during peak hours
- Ability to use employee self-service on company human resources/payroll database
- Must have valid driver’s license

Job Duties
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment following established procedures and standards
- Sort and stack dirty dishes and utensils for washing, removing any food residue and debris, and ensuring that items are properly prepped and organized for efficient cleaning
- Hand wash delicate or oversized items that cannot be cleaned in the dishwashing machine using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques
- Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized at all times, including wiping down surfaces and replenishing cleaning supplies as needed
- Ensure efficient dishwashing practices to help reduce downtime in the kitchen and restaurant
- Take out trash when needed
- Assist cooks with basic food preparation tasks
- Participate in pre-shift meetings, taste tests, and training
- Follow all safety standards and use appropriate safety equipment
- Follow good personal hygiene guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
