Job Requirements
- Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Requirements necessary to obtain airport ID
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise
- Majority of duties performed outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds
- Must be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet
- Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- High school diploma preferred
- Valid driving license is a plus
Job Duties
- Perform completing activities to ensure quality controlled flights such as, but not limited to: Add missing items, add ice, inform flight assembly of missing carts, canisters or bulk loaded items
- Perform the movement of catering equipment (flights) from their respective staging area to the corresponding assigned loading dock as indicated by Dispatch or Dock Control
- Perform the loading of flights into catering vehicles and assist drivers in doing so
- Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Communicate effectively with team members, make sure communication is clear and understood by co-workers
