- reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years of age
- previous maintenance experience at a hotel or restaurant is preferred but not required
- must demonstrate ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members
- must be disciplined and self-motivated
- must maintain neat, clean, and professional appearance
- ability to smile and be friendly during work shifts
Job Duties
- delivers an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebration
- keeps immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and takes corrective action or suggests alternatives
- uses all cleaning chemicals in proper quantities for safety and cost control
- safely and correctly operates all kitchen equipment
- cleans and sanitizes all dishware, flatware and glassware
- sorts dishware and flatware carefully to prevent loss or disposal
- cleans and sanitizes kitchen pots, pans and utensils
- adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies
- handles glassware and dishware with care to avoid breakage
- empties trash and maintains trash cans in kitchen
- assists kitchen staff with pressure point relief during shifts
- assists with line maintenance, including sweeping and clearing dirty dishes
- helps with prep and banquet items as directed by management
- cleans and maintains kitchen and dish areas, floors, walls and drains
- helps maintain kitchen storage, cleanliness and stocking
- cleans and maintains all mats
- assists other team members as needed
- fosters a cooperative and harmonious working environment
- maintains friendliness and professionalism during work on days, nights or weekends
