Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
- familiarity with kitchen operations including banquet or catering services is a plus
- ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen
- willingness to assist with various kitchen duties beyond dishwashing as needed
Job Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes pots pans and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment
- maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning
- assist with food preparation tasks as needed including bussing tables and helping cooks during busy periods
- monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished
- follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- support kitchen staff by helping with additional tasks as required during peak service times
