Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or similar role preferred
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Capability to stand for long periods
- Manual dexterity with hazardous equipment
- Ability to bend, lift and reach repeatedly for extended periods
- Ability to perform repeated actions for extended periods
- Willingness to handle all products carried in the store

Job Duties
- Assist customers with questions in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner
- Offer samples and suggestions for purchases and ways to prepare products
- Assist with special orders, product requests and returns
- Give input to manager on product performance and customer feedback
- Develop and maintain knowledge of produce and products
- Wash all dishes in an efficient manner while ensuring optimal cleanliness and adherence to health department standards
- Maintain plates, containers, utensils and napkins for hot bar and salad bar
- Complete assigned prep lists and light food preparation
- Maintain coffee station by grinding coffee, stocking cups, lids, cream, sugar, etc.
- Follow safety, storage and labeling procedures
- Remove trash and cardboard promptly
- Complete kitchen maintenance and assigned cleaning tasks
- Inform kitchen of low quantities or sold-out product
- Help package and label food for pre-pack cases
- Carry out established closing procedures
- Attend department meetings, storewide meetings and trainings
- Perform other tasks assigned by PFD Manager and/or PFD supervisors
