Job Requirements
- Prior dishwashing experience is required
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Ability to follow safety procedures and operate dishwashing equipment
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving supplies and trash
Job Qualifications
- Prior dishwashing experience
- Ability to operate dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in a kitchen environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Good physical stamina to handle manual tasks
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation
- Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
- Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures
- Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
- Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
