Job Requirements
- 1 year of previous dishwashing experience is preferred
- ability to work full time Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
- willingness to comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to handle physical requirements of the job including standing for extended periods
- ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- legal eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year of previous dishwashing experience preferred
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- familiarity with safe handling of chemicals and kitchen safety procedures
- ability to work full time Monday through Friday
- good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
- washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
- polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth
- ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
- maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
- keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
