Job Requirements

  • 1 year of previous dishwashing experience is preferred
  • ability to work full time Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • willingness to comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines
  • ability to handle physical requirements of the job including standing for extended periods
  • ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • legal eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1 year of previous dishwashing experience preferred
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • familiarity with safe handling of chemicals and kitchen safety procedures
  • ability to work full time Monday through Friday
  • good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
  • washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
  • polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth
  • ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
  • maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
  • keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
  • sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
