Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Ability to stand and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Ability to work in hot and damp conditions
- Ability to use protective equipment and follow safety protocols throughout the shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role is an asset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with a diverse team
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Assist in general cleaning duties to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen environment
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to coordinate workflow
- Operate dishwashing machines and manual cleaning tools safely and efficiently
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols
- Support other team members as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations
- Adhere to company standards and policies regarding hygiene and workplace conduct
