Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- valid Food Handlers card
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
- dependable and punctual
- good communication skills
- flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment preferred
- valid Food Handlers card
- ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate is a plus
- ability to work well in a team environment
- strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- willingness to learn and advance within the kitchen team
Job Duties
- Operate dishwashing machinery efficiently and safely
- maintain cleanliness and organization of dishroom
- sanitize all kitchen utensils, dishes, pots, and pans
- assist kitchen staff with basic prep and cleaning as needed
- monitor and replenish dishwashing supplies
- ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisory staff
