Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • 0-1 year experience in a full-service kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Load, run and unload dishwashing machine ensuring all dishes, glassware, flatware and silverware are properly cleaned
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for pots, pans and trays by hand washing
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass and utensils and place in racks for machine washing
  • Stack and sort clean and dry dishes
  • Transport clean dishes to cooks and storage areas
  • Change dishwater in dish machine every hour
  • Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas
  • Fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions
  • Sweep, scrub and mop floors
  • Maintain the dish pit clean
  • Notify manager if dish machine cycles fall below safety temperatures
  • Clean garbage cans
  • Follow hand washing procedures before handling clean dishes
  • Report any equipment malfunctions
  • Clean and scrub walls
  • Prepare various foods for cooking and serving
  • Continuously seek ways to improve customer experience
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines from OSHA and health authorities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
