Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to work days, nights and/or weekends as required
- ability to work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
- ability to read and write handwritten notes
- ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- ability to move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years of age
- demonstrate ability to clearly communicate with guests and other team members
- be disciplined and self-motivated
- be friendly and able to smile frequently while working
- maintain professional appearance in accordance with dress guidelines
- previous maintenance experience at a hotel or restaurant preferred but not required
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games
- keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and take prompt corrective action or suggest alternatives
- use all chemicals properly in correct quantities for safety and cost control
- safely and correctly operate all equipment
- clean and sanitize all dishware, flatware and glassware
- carefully sort dishware and flatware to ensure none are lost or disposed of
- clean and sanitize kitchen pots, pans and utensils
- adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- carefully handle all glassware and dishware to eliminate breakage
- empty all trash in kitchen and maintain trash cans
- assist other kitchen staff with pressure point relief as needed
- assist with line maintenance, sweeping and clearing dirty dishes
- assist with some prep and banquet items as directed by management
- clean and maintain kitchen and dish areas, floors, walls and drains
- assist in maintaining kitchen storage areas, cleanliness and stocking
- clean and maintain all mats
- assist other team members as needed or when business needs dictate
- maintain favorable working relationships with other team members to foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate
- be friendly and smile often while working days, nights and/or weekends as required
