Job Requirements
- positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members
- must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- long hours may be required due to business demands
- ability to work in a team environment
- ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times
- ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- additional languages preferred
- ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty pounds
Job Qualifications
- three months prior experience at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club
- culinary degree or certification(s) or relevant on job experience recommended
- positive attitude and professional demeanor
- exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- maintain sanitation standards in all kitchen work areas by cleaning dishes and kitchen work areas, sweeping kitchen work areas, and removing trash
- provide clean cooking utensils for the f&b operations and ensure that all utensils and equipment are clean, dry, and correctly stored in the designated areas
- maintain safety, proper storage of chemicals, and chemical concentration logs
- daily set ups of china, glassware, and silverware items for all outlets
- participate as a team player with other key team members
- attend department briefings as necessary to communicate necessary information
- complete all opening and closing procedures as instructed
