Job Requirements

  • Must have and maintain an active Handlers' Card (ServSafe) and adhere to local food handler requirements
  • Maintain an exceptional personal record of punctuality and attendance
  • Consistently perform all duties responsibly and efficiently
  • Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-1 year experience in a full-service kitchen environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and layout
  • Food safety certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Load, run and unload dish machine ensuring proper cleaning and sanitation
  • Hand wash pots, pans and trays maintaining sanitation standards
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils
  • Stack clean and dry dishes
  • Transport clean dishes to cook's line and storage areas
  • Change dishwater in dish machine hourly
  • Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas
  • Fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning solutions
  • Sweep, scrub and mop floors
  • Maintain dish pit cleanliness
  • Notify manager if dish machine temperature falls below safety standards
  • Clean garbage cans and scrub walls
  • Prepare various foods for cooking and serving
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
