Job Duties
- Completes all assigned tasks in line with standards
- Has a thorough understanding of and adherence to regulations, in particular relating to fire, hygiene, and health and safety
- Reports for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform at all times
- Ensures they are adhering to all policies and operational procedures at all times
- Undertakes all cleaning duties and any additional tasks, as directed by the kitchen management team
- Stows away deliveries, discards all boxes and packaging and ensures food is labeled and rotated correctly
- Ensures all duties are completed within the required time frames
- Complies with all rules and regulations that are in place regarding food hygiene and health and safety practices
- Ensures kitchen waste is disposed of in a responsible manner and in line with company policy and local council regulations
- Cleans and washes pots and pans and other dishes in a careful manner to reduce breakages
- Leaves the area clean, neat and tidy
