Job Requirements
- Ability to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation
- ability to use medium weight cut gloves when handling knives and tools
- ability to use oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans
- ability to wear slip-resistant shoes and use proper lifting techniques
- availability to work the scheduled hours from Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
- prior porter/dishwasher experience preferred

Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
- washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
- polishes silver using burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth
- ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
- maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
- keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
