Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
possess excellent customer service skills and etiquette
hold a current Food Handler's Card where applicable
ability to communicate effectively with team members
knowledge in using chemicals for cleaning safely
ability to work in warm to very warm kitchen temperatures
capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Operate an industrial dishwasher
wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, clean and maintain equipment, sanitize utensils and maintain all areas of the restaurant
maintain kitchen work areas, equipment or utensils in clean and orderly conditions
clean food preparation areas, facilities or equipment
execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
place clean dishes, utensils or cooking equipment in storage areas
empty and clean all trash receptacles
provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times, including basic prep
load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food or supplies
perform opening, closing and side work
clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
