Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- excellent customer service skills and etiquette
- must possess a current Food Handler's Card where applicable
- ability to communicate effectively with team members
- ability to learn and properly use chemicals required for cleaning
- ability to work around warm to hot temperatures in the kitchen
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment helpful
- ability to follow sanitation and safety guidelines
- familiarity with food handling procedures
- good communication skills
- ability to work well in a team
- ability to perform physical tasks required for the role
Job Duties
- Operate industrial dishwasher
- wash dishes, sweep and mop floors, clean and maintain equipment
- sanitize utensils and maintain all restaurant areas
- maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
- clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment
- execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
- place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
- empty and clean trash receptacles
- assist prep cooks and kitchen staff during peak times, including basic prep
- load and unload delivery trucks
- perform opening, closing, and side work
- clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
