Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months dish washing experience preferred
  • Must communicate effectively in English
  • High school level math proficiency
  • Knowledge of sanitation and ware washing procedures
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures from +110F to -10F
  • Must stand and move with full range of mobility for up to 4 consecutive hours
  • Ability to bend, squat, climb, walk, see clearly, and hear well
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to push carts weighing up to 250 lbs
  • Frequently carry and lift items up to 30 lbs
  • Able to operate in confined spaces and perform repetitive motions

Job Qualifications

  • At least 6 months dish washing experience in a restaurant setting preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills at high school level
  • Knowledge of chemicals, sanitation and ware washing techniques and procedures
  • Ability to interact courteously and professionally with coworkers
  • Maintain good personal hygiene consistent with health regulations
  • No computer skills required
  • No certificates or licenses required

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots and pans in restaurant
  • Ensure restaurant has requisite amounts of clean items to open shifts properly
  • Manage sufficient amounts of carts for transporting dirty items
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of storage rooms and kitchen areas
  • Assist kitchen staff by timely providing clean utensils and equipment
  • Adhere to sanitation and safety standards at all times
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and dining room coworkers
