Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Responsible for full cycle
  • load, run and unload machine ensuring dishes, glassware, flatware and silverware are properly cleaned at proper sanitation temperatures
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for pots, pans and trays hand washed
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and cooking utensils and place in racks for dish machine
  • Sort and stack clean and dry dishes
  • Transport clean dishes to cook's line and storage areas
  • Change dishwater every hour
  • Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas
  • Fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions
  • Sweep, scrub and mop floors
  • Maintain dish pit clean
  • Notify Manager when dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standards
  • Clean garbage cans with water or steam
  • Never touch dirty dishes before touching clean ones without washing hands first
  • Monitor and report any functional or mechanical problems
  • Clean and scrub walls
  • Prepare various foods for cooking and serving
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve customer experience
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures as per OSHA and health guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
