Job Requirements
- Must be able to pass a thorough background check for Gaming License
- Must be able to renew and maintain an active Gaming License
- Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a current Food Handler's Card
- Ability to stand constantly during shift
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to frequently walk, reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to communicate effectively with management and guests
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Minimum of 6 months related experience or training preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Maintain a clean restaurant environment including coffee area and dishwashing station
- Provide kitchen with clean pots, pans, and dishes by operating dishwasher and manual washing
- Organize soiled kitchenware prior to cleaning and ensure kitchen safety by cleaning spills and placing caution signs
- Maintain sanitary kitchen and dumpster area by cleaning floors, counters, shelves, walls, and equipment
- Arrange and straighten storage areas, disposing of trash and sweeping floors
- Regulate chemical and supply usage while notifying management of equipment defects
- Follow California Food Handlers guidelines and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
