Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
must possess a current Food Handler's Card where applicable
excellent customer service skills and etiquette
ability to communicate effectively with team members
ability to learn about and use cleaning chemicals properly
ability to work in various temperature conditions, including warm kitchen environments
ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience in a dishwasher or kitchen assistant role preferred
excellent customer service skills
ability to communicate effectively with team members
ability to learn proper use of cleaning chemicals
knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
ability to work in fast-paced environments
ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail

Job Duties

Operate an industrial dishwasher
wash dishes, sweep and mop floors, clean and maintain equipment
sanitize utensils and maintain all restaurant areas
maintain kitchen work areas, equipment or utensils in clean and orderly conditions
clean food preparation areas and equipment
execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
place clean dishes, utensils, or equipment in storage areas
empty and clean all trash receptacles
provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food or supplies
perform opening, closing, and side work
clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
