Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a dishwashing or kitchen sanitation role is a plus
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk 100 percent of the time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Compliance with uniform and personal hygiene standards

Job Duties

  • Run dishes and silverware through dish machine following proper procedures
  • Clean and maintain designated equipment and areas
  • Keep dish room clean at all times
  • Maintain sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses during service periods
  • Clean dish machine after every meal
  • Sweep and mop dish room floor at the end of each day and empty mop bucket
  • De-lime dish machine weekly
  • Scrub and soak stained cups weekly
  • Exercise extreme caution and follow instructions when using chemicals
  • Follow cleaning schedules using clean as you go techniques
  • Communicate product and supply needs to management
  • Follow uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene
  • Adhere to Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards and Smile Plus hospitality imperatives
  • Assist fellow associates as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
