Job Requirements

Must be at least eighteen years of age
Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
Willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, seven days a week for up to 28 weeks
Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
Able to meet moderate physical demands including bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
Must pass pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
No consumption of alcohol while onboard
Adherence to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
Ability to perform emergency and safety functions as part of shipboard operations
Temporary employment not to exceed 28 weeks

Job Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen years of age
Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder

Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and a positive attitude
Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing including for marijuana and other controlled substances
Willingness to adhere to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
Commitment to safety and emergency procedures onboard
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley including cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas
Receive and carry food deliveries which require lifting boxes that weigh up to 50 lbs
Ensure that the commercial dishwasher is operating properly and efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues to management
Create genuine rapport with guests and cater to all galley requests in an efficient manner
Perform other functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, providing assistance during special events including afternoon teas and snacks, and participating in evening entertainment
