Job Duties
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including dishwasher, hand washing stations, pot scrubber, and trash compactor
- wash and disinfect kitchen and storage areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
- receive deliveries and properly store perishable items, rotate stock
- ensure clean dishes are stored appropriately
- use chemical detergents and disinfectants at the three-compartment sink to wash dishes
- inspect, organize, and restack clean items
- classify, soak, and wash flatware
- separate containers for dirty items
- empty trash bins and maintain trash deposit area
- clean and mop assigned departmental areas
- break down cardboard boxes and recycle
- comply with company safety policies and report accidents
- communicate clearly and professionally with others
- develop positive work relationships and support team goals
- lift, move, and transport objects up to 50 pounds
- perform other reasonable work tasks as requested
