Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- Must be willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- Must be physically capable of lifting boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
- Must meet grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- Must pass pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
- Must adhere to strict no alcohol consumption policy during employment
- Must be able to perform emergency and safety functions essential to ship operations
- Temporary employment not to extend beyond 28 weeks
Job Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- Ability to follow safety protocols and grooming standards
- Previous hospitality experience is advantageous but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley including cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas
- Receive and carry food deliveries which require lifting boxes that weigh up to 50 lbs
- Ensure that the commercial dishwasher is operating properly and efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues to management
- Creating genuine rapport with our guests and catering to all galley requests in an efficient manner
- Perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting during special events including afternoon teas, snacks, and evening entertainment
- Maintain safety and hygiene standards in the galley
- Collaborate with other crew members to ensure smooth galley operations
