Job Duties
- adhere to restaurant specifications and standards when operating the dishwashing machine
- wash pots, pans and other kitchen utensils and equipment
- assist in cleaning and housekeeping duties to maintain interior and exterior physical property and fixtures
- remove excess food from soiled wares and rinse wares prior to dishwashing
- inspect cleanliness and condition of washed wares and rewash if necessary
- handle wares carefully to prevent breakage and loss
- maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas throughout shift
- check and maintain dishwashing machine water and filters
- adhere to health department, sanitation and safety regulations
- transport garbage containers and clean them
