Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
American citizen or Green Card holder
able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
willingness to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
ability to pass a pre-employment drug test including Marijuana and other controlled substances
commitment to abstain from alcohol consumption onboard
adherence to company grooming standards
willingness to learn shipboard safety and emergency functions
able to work onboard for temporary 28-week contract
maintain a positive attitude and composure under pressure

Job Duties

Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley including cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas
receive and carry food deliveries which require lifting boxes that weigh up to 50 lbs
ensure that the commercial dishwasher is operating properly and efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues to management
creating genuine rapport with our guests and catering to all galley requests in an efficient manner
perform other functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, providing assistance during special events including afternoon teas and snacks, and participating in evening entertainment
work onboard for a 28-week season adhering to a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week schedule
maintain compliance with grooming standards and safety procedures
