Job Requirements

Must be at least eighteen years of age
Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
Willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, for 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test including screening for marijuana and other controlled substances
Must comply with alcohol consumption prohibition during work hours
Willingness to adhere to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
Availability for temporary employment up to 28 weeks
Ability to perform emergency and safety functions essential to ship operation

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley including cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas
Receive and carry food deliveries which require lifting boxes that weigh up to 50 lbs
Ensure that the commercial dishwasher is operating properly and efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues to management
Create genuine rapport with guests and cater to all galley requests in an efficient manner
Perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, assisting during special events including afternoon teas and snacks, and participating in evening entertainment
