Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be American citizen or Green Card holder
- Willingness to work 12 hours per day, 7 days a week
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
- Able to maintain professional grooming standards
- No consumption of alcohol during employment
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- Willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
- Adherence to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- Professional and conscientious approach to service with no alcohol consumption on board
- Completion of emergency and safety training required for shipboard employees
Job Duties
- Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley including cutlery, glassware, dishes, and surrounding areas
- Receive and carry food deliveries which require lifting boxes that weigh up to 50 lbs
- Ensure that the commercial dishwasher is operating properly and efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues to management
- Create genuine rapport with guests and cater to all galley requests in an efficient manner
- Perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation and assisting during special events including afternoon teas and evening entertainment
- Participate in evening entertainment activities as needed
