Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- must be 21 years or older
- current commercial driver's license may be required with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Federal Department of Transportation regulations
- experience in customer service environment preferably in a senior living setting
- knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures
- competent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities

Job Duties
- providing timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities
- assisting disabled passengers into and out of the vehicle
- securing passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trips
- safely operating radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service
- maintaining all community vehicles in good working condition
- cleaning and servicing vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories
- assisting with vehicle registration and license plate renewal process
- inspecting and documenting vehicle condition monthly and per trip
