Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to follow safety protocols
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends
Basic food preparation knowledge
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills

Job Duties

Cleans assigned areas, equipment and utensils at the end of each meal according to established procedures
Demonstrates a clear understanding of safety in the work area by lifting correctly, wiping up spills, and using carts to transport items and other steps to avoid accidents
Follows appropriate procedures in the preparation, food station lite-cooking (non-production cooking), handling and service of food items
Flexible with schedule to meet department demands
Clean tables and chairs in cafeteria
