Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior experience in a dishwashing or kitchen sanitation role is advantageous
ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
physical stamina for prolonged standing and lifting
reliable attendance and punctuality
ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily
willingness to follow strict sanitary and safety standards
ability to stand and walk for 100% of the time
capability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 30 lbs frequently
good communication skills
ability to work well with others
adherence to uniform and hygiene standards

Job Duties

Run dishes and silverware through dish machine following proper procedures
clean and maintain certain equipment and areas as designated by management
keep dish room clean at all times
keep sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses during service periods
clean dish machine after every meal
sweep and mop dish room floor at the end of each day, and empty mop bucket
de-lime the dish machine once a week
scrub and soak all stained cups weekly
exercise extreme precaution and carefully follow instructions and procedures when using chemicals
follow cleaning schedule as provided by management, using clean as you go techniques
maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed
follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene
follow all Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards and use Smile Plus hospitality imperatives
assist fellow associates at every opportunity
perform any other duties as assigned by management
