Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Reliable transportation to work
  • Physical ability to stand and walk entire shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
  • Willingness to adhere to uniform and personal hygiene standards

Job Duties

  • Run dishes and silverware through dish machine following proper procedures
  • Clean and maintain designated equipment and areas as assigned
  • Keep dish room clean at all times
  • Maintain sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses during service periods
  • Clean dish machine after every meal
  • Sweep and mop dish room floor at the end of each day and empty mop bucket
  • De-lime dish machine weekly
  • Scrub and soak stained cups weekly
  • Carefully follow instructions and procedures when using chemicals
  • Follow cleaning schedule and use clean as you go techniques
  • Maintain communication with management regarding supplies
  • Follow uniform dress code and personal hygiene standards
  • Follow Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards and Smile Plus imperatives
  • Assist fellow associates when needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
