Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in a dishwashing or kitchen support role helpful but not required
Ability to stand and/or walk 100% of the time
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to frequently lift up to 30 lbs
Willingness to follow safety procedures when handling chemicals
Availability to work scheduled shifts as required
Ability to maintain personal hygiene and adhere to dress code
Ability to work collaboratively with management and team members

Job Duties

Run dishes and silverware through dish machine following proper procedures
Clean and maintain certain equipment and areas as designated by management
Keep dish room clean at all times
Keep sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses during service periods
Clean dish machine after every meal
Sweep and mop dish room floor at the end of each day, and empty mop bucket
De-lime the dish machine once a week
Scrub and soak all stained cups weekly
Exercise extreme precaution and carefully follow instructions and procedures when using chemicals
Follow cleaning schedule as provided by management, using clean as you go techniques
Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed
Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene
Follow all Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards
Use Smile Plus hospitality imperatives
Assist fellow associates at every opportunity
Perform any other duties as assigned by management
