Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Food Handlers Card valid in California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, Virginia
- Ability to sort, rinse, and organize dishware and utensils
- Capability to operate and maintain dishwashing equipment
- Willingness to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and carrying clean dishes
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Food Handlers Card valid in California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, Virginia
- Experience in a similar dishwashing role preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Keep plate ware, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils clean and sanitized
- Maintain the dish machine and ensure it functions properly
- Keep the dish room, prep area, and adjacent restaurant areas clean, safe, and organized
- Sweep and mop floors, wipe down workstations, walls, and furniture
- Remove trash regularly
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and cooking utensils
- Sort and stack clean dishes and carry them to the cook's line and other proper storage areas
- Change dishwater in the dish machine as required
- Wash pots, pans, and trays
- Fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions
- Assemble and disassemble the dish machine
- Prepare thoroughly and strive for perfection
