Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to work full time Monday through Friday with some weekends and evenings
- Kansas City Food Handlers certificate preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to perform physical tasks related to cleaning and lifting
- willingness to comply with safety standards
- reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in dishwashing or kitchen sanitation preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow safety protocols
- good physical stamina
- attention to detail in cleaning
- team player with good communication skills
- food handlers certificate preferred
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes
- washes dishes by hand or uses dishwashing machines
- washes pots, pans, and trays ensuring cleanliness
- polishes silver using burnishing machine and chemical dips
- ensures compliance with safety procedures
- maintains temperatures and chemical levels
- keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors
- washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces
- removes trash and cleans garbage cans
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- assists with loading and unloading supplies
- performs other duties as assigned
