Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment preferred but not required
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
  • Ability to operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check is required
  • Must maintain professional conduct and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented and stable work environment
  • Possession of a valid California driver’s license is required and must be maintained throughout employment

Job Duties

  • Wash and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and flatware using proper equipment and techniques
  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas including floors, walls, appliances, sinks, and worktables
  • Properly dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers
  • Replenish clean dishware and utensils to service and prep areas
  • Operate dishwashing machines and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist with basic food prep tasks, including safe handling of kitchen tools and ingredients
  • Stock, organize, and rotate kitchen supplies and food items
  • Provide support during banquets and events with line restocking and cleanup duties
  • Perform other related duties as assigned within the scope of the position
