High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous dishwashing or bussing experience preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift heavy objects
Availability to work varying shifts
Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines

Job Duties

Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machines
Washes pots, pans and trays ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
Polishes silverware using various equipment and procedures
Ensures compliance with all safety procedures
Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as per standards
Keeps dish area orderly and complies with safety standards
Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to maintain sanitation
Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces
Removes trash and cleans trash containers
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
Helps load and unload supplies and product
Performs other duties as assigned
