Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
previous experience in banquet or food service preferred
valid Food Handlers Card
ability to stand and walk for extended periods
capacity to lift up to 40 pounds frequently
adherence to company policies and procedures
compliance with all health, safety, and labor regulations
willingness to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
consistent attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

High school graduate or GED preferred
previous banquet experience preferred
food handlers card required
knowledge of food service regulations
skillfully uses hand tools or machines
excellent communication and organizational skills
ability to work in a fast-paced environment
able to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects
able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks

Job Duties

Sweeps and mops floors
washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surface areas
segregates and removes trash and places it in designated containers
washes pots, pans, and trays
polishes silver
transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
restocks tools and supplies for next shift
sets up banquet tables
helps line cook prepare and date food
maintains inventory and temperature logs
helps properly store food
keeps walk-in cooler/freezer organized
busses tables
picks up room service and bar trays
maintains a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
maintains professional image through appearance and dress
follows company policies and procedures
operates in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws including OSHA, EEOC, wage and hour, and health code laws
performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
