Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the age of hire unless otherwise required by state law
  • ability to remain standing for extended periods of time
  • frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 40 lbs, for short distances
  • ability to work with hot water for most of the shift, and in work areas that have an elevated air temperature
  • ability to work with varying noise levels
  • frequent communication with managers and team members

Job Duties

  • Arrive on time, in full uniform, and ready to work
  • work directly with team members to ensure all needs are met in a timely manner
  • maintain proper food handling procedures and ensure sanitation of work areas, complying with food handling requirements
  • work closely with team members to ensure safety and sanitation protocols are followed according to company standards
  • collect bus tubs and dirty dishes from both FOH and BOH areas
  • ensure a steady supply of clean dishes, glassware, and utensils for cooks, servers, and bartenders
  • re-stock areas for easy access by other staff members
  • provide support to cooks as needed, including occasional station assignments
  • communicate with fellow team members and management to stay informed and ensure smooth operations
  • maintain clean and organized work areas, including sweeping and mopping when necessary
  • assist with overall kitchen cleanliness, including taking out trash
  • complete running and end-of-shift side work, ensuring work areas are stocked and ready for the next dishwasher
  • notify management immediately of any potential problems or issues
