Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Less than one year experience in customer service or food service
  • Ability to maintain sanitation and quality standards

  • Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment

  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Retrieve trays from dirty utility room
  • Clean off meal carts
  • Send dirty dishes through dish machine
  • Wash pots
  • Place clean dishes in designated work area
  • Throw trash
  • Sweep and mop
  • Participate in delivery of food services tray to customers while maintaining quality and sanitation standards
  • Participate in assembly and delivery of patient/customer meals according to established procedures
  • Support the organization's visions, values, and strategies
  • Maintain and support sanitation standards as required by department policy and regulatory agencies
  • Operate and maintain equipment as assigned
  • Ensure quality guidelines are maintained for assigned area
  • Maintain department records, reports, and files
  • Participate in educational meetings and in-services
  • Perform other duties as assigned
