Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
  • Ability to work a variety of scheduled shifts including late hours, weekends, and holidays
  • Capable of working well in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
  • Flexibility to work unscheduled shifts as directed by management
  • Willingness to attend all required staff meetings
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • Able to obtain a valid food handler's card
  • Demonstrates consistent and effective hand-washing techniques as outlined by health regulations
  • Demonstrates consistent and proper food handling techniques as per health department guidelines
  • Able to arrive to work on time and ready to start scheduled shifts
  • Displays a basic knowledge of restaurant operations
  • Exhibits a friendly, professional, and helpful attitude towards coworkers and management
  • Demonstrates good time management skills by completing tasks timely
  • Able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties

  • Maintaining the supply of clean dishes, pots and pans, silverware, etc
  • Performing daily cleaning of the restaurant including front and back of house, building exterior, trash, recycling, and parking areas
  • Sweeping and mopping restaurant floors using prescribed techniques and materials
  • Conducting proper daily deep cleaning, sanitation, and stocking of all restaurant restrooms including floors, toilets, sinks, dispensers, doors, walls, and exhaust fans
  • Completing regularly scheduled deep cleaning projects and any special cleaning projects as directed by management
  • Assisting management or staff members with catering deliveries and special assignments as needed
  • Consistently arriving prepared for shifts with appropriate grooming and uniform
